Olivetrade was awarded the Lebanon cleaner certificate in the olive oil sector in Lebanon by the Lebanese cleaner production center. The Lebanese cleaner production center was established with the support of the European Commission- LIFE Program, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the Austrian Government and the Ministry of Environment in Lebanon . It aims to empower Lebanese industrial enterprises to design and manufacture products that meet growing consumers’ demand for more environmentally-friendly products, as well as to reduce the adverse environmental impacts of industrial production thus responding to the requirements of sustainable development.
