INGREDIENTS
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg large
  • 2 tablespoons Zejd organic extra virgin olive oil for kids.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg, milk and Zejd organic extra virgin olive oil for kids together. 2. Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt until combined. Cover with a plastic wrap and refrigerate batter for at least 30 minutes (batter can be refrigerated for up to 3 days). 3. Use a small ladle or measuring cup to pour batter onto a greased waffle iron. Cook until both sides are golden brown. 4. Serve with whipped cream, strawberries and maple syrup to your liking.
